I have been having trouble with updating this blog because I've been trying to concentrate my blogging efforts on Error Quest. I find that whenever I'm at my desk, my first instinct is to start working on either Boomzap stuff, the comic strips, freelance work (workaholic, maybe), or play video games (haven't been doing much of this either).
In an effort to keep this updated on a semi-regular basis, I'm going to attempt to blog completely from an iPad. I recently bought a new one and I've been experimenting with using it as a digital sketch pad using various drawing apps and an Adonit Jot stylus.

So it seems I have neglected this blog yet again since my Daenerys Targaryen post (which, by the way, I still haven't finished), but I haven't exactly been idle. I've actually been working on a new blog with my boyfriend, Dante, called Error Quest.
Error Quest is our joint gaming blog inspired by our current MMO of choice: The Secret World. Though it's not really meant to be a pure TSW-related blog, it's certainly looking like a hardcore fansite. We have plans of writing about other games, movies, tv, comics, and other geeky topics, but for now it'll be mostly TSW stuff, so if you're not into the game, it might not be worth your time to visit (yet), though I would appreciate it very much if you do!

Seeing as how I've managed ignore this blog for months and people still keep visiting, I thought I'd post a preview of some personal art I'm currently working on. I recently posted this on Facebook and I got a whopping 43 likes from my friends so now I feel compelled (and quite pressured) to finish it soon. I really can't say when I'll be able to finish to this because of work, commissions, games, life, blah blah blah... but here's hoping those 43 likes (woohoo!) will at least motivate me to finish it sometime this century.

A quick art dump before I get distracted and completely forget to post these: I've been playing around with Sketchbook Pro lately and I've come to enjoy using it as a doodling app much better than Photoshop. I like the ease and natural feel to the preset brushes and how easy it is to create line weight with the custom inking brush I made. So here's a bunch of crap I came up with:

I haven't been posting on this blog for a while so I'm a little surprised to how my average pageviews per day has gone up since I last checked. Not that it's much, but it's nice to know people are still visiting the site. I've been busy, as usual, with work, but I thought it's about time I started drawing for myself again. Here's something I drew just for fun. It's based on my cat, Sushi, who wasn't exactly the best behaved model (he was biting my arm as I drew this). Hopefully this post will get the ball rolling and kick me back to drawing and posting more art.
